TEACHING PLAN

14 AUGUST 2018

This is the sample teaching plan that I received from Bu Tati which was about the Coordinate System. The teaching plan is composed of 8 parts - (a) Core Competencies, (b) Basic Competencies and Indicators, (c) Learning Objectives, (d) Learning Materials, (e) Learning Procedures, (f) Approaches, Models, and Learning Methods, (g) Media, Tools, and Learning Resources, and (h) Assessment.

Generally, I noticed that their teaching plan is longer than ours since its good for 2 hours and 40 minutes. The parts are also the same except that we use the English language in writing teaching plans for Mathematics. The general competencies are narrowed down to specific ones in the learning objectives. It also mentioned the teaching method used by the teacher.  The learning procedures are specifically stated with their corresponding time allotment. I also noticed that the procedure used in teaching Math starts with specific examples of general concepts. Students are guided with the LTPD to discuss this in groups. The assessment for each domain is also clearly specified as to which it is targeting whether cognitive, affective, or psychomotor domain.

This is the teaching plan and worksheet that I made for my actual teaching.
